OUR PURPOSE
Our purpose is to assist in training and equipping Christian men and women to develop, grow and mature as local church workers, ministry and church leaders and for the fulfillment of the Great Commission.
OUR MISSION
The mission of Africa Christian Ministry Institute (ACMI) is to provide quality biblical and culturally relevant ministry materials and training for learners. We adhere to a Christian value system. Our aim is to develop ministry skills and capacities for service within the church environment under the supervision of senior pastors. We also provide sound academic and professional training to equip pastors, church leaders, missionaries and ministry practitioners.
ACMI STATEMENT OF FAITH
In summary, we believe:
We believe the canon of the sacred Scriptures as originally given is entirely inspired and is the written word of God (1 Cor. 2: 13; 11 Tim. 3: 16).
We believe in the eternal Godhead who has revealed Himself as one God existing in three persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy spirit -distinguishable but indivisible (Mt. 28 : 19; 11 Cor. 13: 14).
We believe in the creation, test and fall of man as recorded in Genesis; his total spiritual depravity and inability to attain divine righteousness (Rom. 5: 12, 18).
We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Savior of men , conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, very God and very Man (Isa. 7: 14; 1 Th. 4: 13 -18).
STATEMENT OF FAITH (CONTD)
We believe that Christ died for the sins of mankind, was buried, rose again the third day and personally appeared to His disciples (Rom. 4: 25; 1 Cor. 15 : 1- 4).
We believe in the bodily ascension of Jesus to heaven, His exaltation and personal literal and bodily coming again for the second time for the Church (Jn. 14 : 2, 3; 1 Th. 4: 13 – 18).
We believe in the salvation of sinners by grace through repentance and faith in the perfect and sufficient work of the Cross of Calvary by which we obtain remission of sins (Rom. 5: 11; Eph. 2: 8 -9; Heb. 9: 12, 22).
We believe in the command of water baptism by immersion after conversion, in the name of the eternal godhead, in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ (Mt. 28:19; Acts 2: 34 -36; 19: 1 -6).
We believe the church is a body of believers baptized by the Holy Spirit into one body each believer living his life in the power of the Holy Spirit.
